Ramesh Natarajan

With over 42 years of experience in the lead-acid battery industry, Ramesh Natarajan has worn many hats throughout his career. He began his professional journey at 20 as a graduate trainee, progressed to a managerial role, led the establishment of a successful greenfield, export-oriented battery manufacturing plant, and eventually joined a successful family-run business, where he spent the final 22 years of his career.

He has spoken at various seminars and conducted technical training programs in India, Malaysia, Thailand, Dubai, South Africa, and the United Kingdom. His diverse professional experience spans battery design for a wide range of applications, including specialized requirements; project planning and execution; overall manufacturing operations; personnel training in quality management systems; vendor development; marketing; and customer service.

As an author, he hopes his books will inspire young people with innovative ideas and ambitious aspirations to pursue their goals with confidence. Looking ahead, Ramesh believes that the battery industry needs significant technological advancement. He sees considerable potential for Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) to drive this transformation, and he emphasizes the importance of leveraging professionals' expertise in these fields to fuel the industry's future growth.
